I know yesterday happened. I had Lucy with me all day, together we did some sewing, ate lunch and then started laundry. My son was home early and we ended up spending the evening together and there may have been some wine involved.
It just didn't seem like I had forgotten to blog. I also couldn't find Roy. He's usually in the JodyRi salad bowl or the little box I keep my stitchy stuff in next to my chair. No Roy in either place.
Then I spotted him...giggling and not hiding very well under the side table....
He pointed out to me that I need to dust the bottom shelf. I reminded him I've been busy but he stated that I have managed to dust everything else, so why not the bottom shelf? Well, that would take time away from sewing and stitching. He agreed that is true, but still insisted on the dusting that needed to happen.
Here are the project bags I managed to get done yesterday. They are already in my Etsy shop.
Today was the release of the February Blackwork SAL pattern. I kind of wanted it to be released earlier today since I was itching to stitch that today.
I also felt like stitching more of the sections that will be filled in at some point, still have the outer border section to stitch but I can do that next time. Right now I have to go dust that bottom shelf before the nagging starts again.
I hope your day is BEAUTIFUL and dust free!
Until next time.....KEEP ON STITCHIN'!
Shhh, please do not tell Roy that I just saw a table leg that I did not dust!Lovely project bags.
ReplyDeletehaha! It's funny I never think to dust that bottom shelf as that is where I keep my project bags and who wants to get down there anyway :D I promise not to tell Roy, what he doesn't know he cannot nag me about, right?
DeleteTell Roy to leave you alone and if he wants it dusted to do it himself haha. Lovely new project bags. The new blackwork section looks fantastic.
ReplyDeleteHe's done nagging since I did pull everything off the shelf and dusted. This is why it's best to have stuff piled up on every available surface!! hahaha!
DeleteIt's strange how some days just get away from you - but as long as sewing happened, it can't have been a completely lost day!
ReplyDeleteIt was a great day! I miss chatting with you, let's schedule a chat day with the girls!
