Because my friend Leonore had left me a comment about how she crochets in the car while someone else is driving, it got me to thinking about trying to do it in the passenger seat of my car. I pulled out an on going project.....a new Chickie Bag for my shop. Managed to get so much done! All because I switched seats.
I have to admit that the bag I have my yarn in makes a really good pillow for those days when lunchtime is really nap time. Leaving the bag in the car is always smart so I don't forget to bring something for the days that lunchtime is awake time and crochet time. Monday and Tuesday lunchtimes were hardcore nap time and having that softness available made it a very enjoyable nap time. So much so, that on Monday I would have continued sleeping if there hadn't been any dogs barking by my car...I was ten minutes late getting back and wonder if anyone really noticed? I now have an alarm set for those nappy lunch times tee hee.
While I was playing musical car seats, stuck between the console and the seat was a pin. Carefully reaching down with two fingers I managed to pull it up and laughed....mostly because it told me to, but also because I often wonder what else is lurking in this car? It used to belong to my son's roommate which is how I got the Sissy Kia.
Yes, the Kia is a sissy car. Can't handle snow. Not one bit. Just say snow and that car will slide sideways in fear on perfectly dry pavement. It may even be appropriate to say that the Sissy Kia does not care for anything other than sunshine and clear skies. It's what I have so I'll make due.
Also, stresslessweek.org is really a thing sponsored by Active Minds. I may check that out and share what I find with you all.
Since Magical shared her Kreinik, I figured I would share mine. Had to stock up on that Blindingly Black! Also grabbed up more of the blue I love and thought I'd try a couple peacock colors and a new green. As you can see there is MORE to Blindingly Black than one would think.
Well, I suppose I should get back to organizing the disaster on my desk. I may have some words about this on Friday....depending on how far along I am on fixing the "situation".
LAUGH MORE. Also, hug someone or something...just don't be creepy about it, people frown on that (even though I continue to do it).
Until next time.....KEEP ON STITCHIN'!
