July Turtle Trot

Turtle Trot for July!

Strangely I'm getting somewhere...

Finished April and am now working on May.

You all know I was trying to get one done per month, and you know that all well laid plans always have some kind of hiccup along the way.

But never fear, I have more for July Turtle Trot.....

You saw this recently as another finish which is just as delightful as the first one finished and now I only have one more to do!

It is strangely thrilling to find myself getting these things done and not even realizing how far I've come.

Wheels spinning is what it feels like at times but when I sit back and look at it all, there IS progress being made and this excites me to no end.

Butterfly Forest also had some love and I have to say that changing the fabric to this 40 ct was a FINE IDEA!

I am hopeful I can finish this one by October 31st so I can submit it to the Stitching Pirates Butterflies and Beads Contest.  Even though I am a judge, I still like to participate.

Technically there are no beads for this pattern, but I have ideas.  I'm going to wait until I finish stitching to really focus on the bead placement.

Now I must go figure out some fabric for the final Quaker Ornament....what lurks in my fabric stash I wonder?

Until next time.....Keep On Stitchin'
