February Goal List

What wonderful ideas swirl around my head when I contemplate a short list of goals for February? More than I can accomplish, that is for sure!  I have to keep reminding myself that I had holidays in January and a three day weekend in there, but would have completed the January list, but a little later.

Now we have February and 28 days to get things done.  Like sticking your wet finger in a light socket, the neurons fired up and a thought occurred! Or rather, my goal list (in no particular order of importance) for February was created.

1:  Flower of the month bookmark
2: Ornament of the month
3: Elephant biscornu
4: Day 2
5: Yellow Butterfly Biscornu
6: ACE
7: Petite Bookmark
8: Panda Delight
9: Quaker Ornament Side B
10: Finish Skeleton Crew and Begin Next focus project

It may seem like quite a bit, but it really isn't and 10 is a nice round number that feels solid.  The idea of only 28 days puts a little panic into the mix, but seriously it isn't a big deal.  I'm only losing 2 to 3 days from a normal month, so what?  I can do this!  This list will be wiped out in no time flat!

Now I have to go and get scanned to make sure I didn't fry half my brain when I stuck my wet finger in the light socket.....

  1. You did so well on your January goal I was so impressed, and 10 is a nice even number to strive for and it's time for the February blahs, stitching will be a marvelous way to deal with that.

    1. Thank you! They are mostly smalls so it shouldn't be too difficult, the main ones that need to be done are the bookmark, Day 2 and Ornament of the month, the rest are there for fun!

  3. 10 sounds like a lot, but I'm sure you'll be able to at the very least make a nice dent in this list. Just make sure to focus on one point at a time so you'll actually get a few finishes instead of stitching a bit on every one of them, and maby give priority to the monthly ornament, bookmark, 12 days and the quaker side so you don't have catching up on those as carry over into March, if that does make sense? Looking forwards to all your pretty stitching!

    1. It does sound like quite a bit, but 9 of them are small and I already know I can do the ornament in half a day, Day 2 will take a bit longer because of those itty bitty stitches, the bookmark will be a little bit longer and the biscornus should only take a week for both....the rest...well we shall see :D

  4. Waaahh. Look at you saying it's not a lot. I think my head exploded and confetti people spurted out and screamed "no mas, no mas". But, you're pretty fast with a needle. I'm assuming they're small projects? I think...you can do it, Carla!
