Well, it took longer than I thought, but I did manage to convert the Dimensions color code #'s to DMC. If you are interested here's how it goes:
12324 = 721 17031 = 775 6017 = 794
12322 = 720 171180 = 826 15943 = 436
12386 = 3823 15470 = 433 18390 = 648
12293 = 744 13336 = 3776 13337 = 920
12306 = 977 12296 = 745 12288 = 741
16253 = 472 16256 = 906 6181 = 936
16267 = 904 17976 = 3325 15350 = 976
15365 = 976 15360 = 839 15898 = 840
It probably doesn't make too much sense like this, but the left number is the Dimensions and the right number is the DMC.
I HAD to figure out the numbers and pull out the floss so I could see what was what. Now that I know, this whole remaining portion of the project will fly!
Never fear, I did a bit more of the blue sky shading for your viewing pleasure. Please ignore the shadow of my hand on the right side :)
Tomorrow will see quite a bit more done....until next time!
Yay!! Progress :D and the colours discovered too - no mean feat!
ReplyDeleteI was so tired last night but wanted to get some stitching in anyway, and I became seriously frustrated with not knowing what the colors were, so I spent entirely too much time converting the codes to understandable numbers and pulling the floss so I can compare the colors.
DeleteThis is where I'm really excited to see how you stitch that clown without a pattern!
