2016 Halloween SAL

This is being posted now.  Here is why:  When choosing fabric or pattern or flosses for a project, especially a Halloween project....these decisions cannot possibly be taken too lightly, nor can they be rash decisions.
You will remember that Leonore and I did the 2015 Halloween SAL using the Frosted Pumpkins "Spooky Halloween" which was incredibly fun.  There is no set rule on using this particular pattern, stitch what you like...just stitch with us.
This year's pattern choice is Cloudsfactory's "Whacky Witches in Stitches".  Our start date is August 15, 2016 with a hopeful finish of October 15, 2016 (or anytime before Halloween...hopefully).
Here are some of last year's finishes from last year's SAL
Nancy added some glow in the dark and neon which really makes hers even more fun.

I did the full finish, finish as I had a really neato frame from the thrift store sitting in my random frame box.
For some reason I cannot add Leonore's or Magical's but will hopefully fix that later.  Prepare yourselves and join in the fun!  The clock is ticking with ONLY six months to get your project together for this super fun SAL.
Until next time.....Keep on Stitchin'

  4. I love the border and the house in the middle! The rest is a little "cutesy" for me but I will enjoy watching you all stitch it!
If any of the blocks fit the theme on the Hallowe'en Ornie SAL Blog please feel free to share the photos! I am sure people would love to see them.

  5. Oh no. The last thing I need to do is join another SAL, but this is a design I want to stitch. I'll have to think about it. ;)
