Skeleton Crew!

The big finish!  I'm so excited...it really is too beautiful for words!  I LOVE this!

The only thing I changed was using E940 glow in the dark DMC floss for the serpent and the white parts of the little green fishes.

Now I must fling myself into bed, but I shall return with TUSAL on Friday!

Until next time...Happy Stitching

  1. Yay, you did it! Congrats on this really, really awesome finish. It's unbelievable how perfect that fabric is for the pattern, especially the placement of the moon on that 'foggy' patch of background ^_^

    1. I agree....when I saw that patch of fog there I was VERY hopeful I could put the moon right next to it. Still think I could have dropped it down five spaces and over two but I was worried about the bottom of the pattern being beyond the bottom of the fabric :D As it turns out I could have done that and had fabric to spare!

    1. Thank you! It is Twixt and Tween from Silkweavers. Their online picture obviously does NOT do this fabric justice. When I first got the fabric I emailed them and let them know what I thought of it and they were thrilled :D

  3. It is amazing! As is the sparkly fabric you chose! The idea to use glow in the dark thread is a great one - can never have too much glow in the dark for spooky stuff! Well done for sticking with this despite all the frogging!

    2. Awesome! Bright lights really close to the embroidery till the last second seemed to help for me with photography :)
