A Finish for the Middle of June

I did it.  I finished "Flowers for Nancy".  Yes, I'm super pleased and can't wait for everyone to OOHH and AAHH.  I have determined that it is decorative pillow worthy so the finished piece will go into my (new idea for the NCC) "to sew up" basket.

Flowers for Nancy

As you know from my last blog, my next project is to continue on with, and finish, Celtic Goddess.  I have dusted her off and ironed her out in preparation for more stitching.  Naturally I keep thinking of everything else I want to stitch but I must control myself!  ONLY Celtic Goddess.

On an even brighter note, I had an amazing response to questions I had regarding another stitcher's relationship with HAED (Heaven and Earth Designs) and she was so wonderful she created a blog about it!  I INSIST you go read it right now and quit hanging around her wondering if I'm going to veer away from Celtic Goddess and do something else......I promise I won't do anything other than work on Celtic Goddess... I swear that once I am done writing this blog I will pull somethingelseoutandstartworking. ....oops, right....Celtic Goddess and nothing else!

Please, go read Crossed Stitches You will enjoy every bit of it.

Until next time....HAPPY STITCHING......

..........hmmmmm.....that biscornu pattern won't take but a moment to stitch so why not stitch that first and then Celtic Goddess?  Or I could stitch a whole bunch of little things and then.....drat!  NO!  Control thyself....breathe....it will be fine....it won't take too long to stitch up Celtic Goddess......

    1. Thank you! Actually the eyes are small black glass beads. Where the beads are in the pattern are supposed to be French Knots. I can do them, but I prefer to add bling to everything and change all that French Knot stuff to BLING ha, ha!

  3. I love my flowers, they will make an amazing pillow.
And I really, really, hate to say it but NO, no biscornu for you, first you must embrace your inner goddess. If it gets to hard, I'll do a biscornu for you, as soon as I finish bunny.

    1. I will need all the help I can get!! I tried stitching on it day before yesterday and just couldn't. The reasoning was I had forgotten the symbols and colors and left off at a bad place....should have marked the graph before I put her away!! RATS AND DOUBLE RATS!!
