TUSAL 3.30.2014, yes, a day late

Never fear, I did have this written down in my Stitcher's Diary and even looked at it yesterday and thought about how I needed to get that done, and then promptly took a nap.

Floss from SKULL, yarn from a current crochet project and floss from 12 Days of Christmas.  It doesn't look like much compared to a few I've had in the past, but the fun I have when I empty it out into the ziplock....well I know its kind of silly, but I like to empty the jar after every TUSAL shot.

I've had this amazing three day weekend and have been super busy, but not on stitching.  I did some stitching but most of the work being done was online and continuing the struggle with putting my NCC back in order.  It really did get dee-stroyed.

I don't remember if I said this before, but everything was put away because I had a job and didn't think I would have to go through the painful process of finding another one....ever.  And when I did apply for something it was in the hopes of moving UP and not OUT.  That is why I had to DIG DEEP for things that were put away for safe keeping.  And now my space is in chaos.
On a more fun note, I managed to listen to more of Wuthering Heights and stitch more on Day 1.  The over one is a little difficult and now what I thought would be easy stuff has been made more complicated by being tiny.  I love it, what a challenge!

The pattern makes your brain think it will be this huge thing, but when you actually stitch it, it is dainty and small.  I have all year to decide what to do with it.  Might go with Nancy's idea of making a biscornu, or just go with the pattern idea and make ornaments, or make a wall hanging....I have no idea at this point.  I just want to stitch them.

Now I'm off to get more of the NCC cleared up and get in more stitching before the last of this three day weekend runs out.

Until next time.....happy stitching!!!!

  1. I'm just starting my weekend, and there are no sports on, (that I want to watch) so back to movies and West Wing and stitching, and shopping tomorrow with Mom. 12 Days is looking really pretty, she has such a thing for gorgeous borders.
